Recently while hunting for the figures of the original 151 collection [coming up in the next update], I was also in the hunt to collect all 151 of the first generation pokemon trading cards.

But for those who are hardcore collectors of these TCG cards you will know the pain of finding the vintage first version cards.. so I thought, heck, so long I can get all 151 cards it doesn't matter to me which version they're from.

Well with that did I not complete the collection? Of course not!

So here you go, the 1st gen pokemon in their individual card form arriving in different versions of the TCG.

I'm from Singapore, a tiny island at the southern most tip of continental Asia, and years back (at least a decade) I remembered saving off coins just to get one of the crazy dip sweet from a local provision shop. Well it wasn't so much of being a sweet-tooth, but rather the sweet-innocent surprise that came inside of the sachet.

Not too sure if crazy dips can be found outside of Asia, but I believe many will find this familiar. Unfortunately, I didn't managed to collect all #151 of the stickers. Couldn't exactly recall what was the reason behind it but thinking back now makes me feel guilty for splurging so much on the collection and also putting so much sugary-stuff down!

Anyways, here's the collection.

This post will relate most to those born in the '80s and '90s as back then one for the most popular gaming devices available is the Nintendo Gameboy.

Though more than a decade had passed, I could still remember the very day I got my hands on the first Pokemon Yellow Version game for my GB. I even bought the guidebook that came with a map of Johto.

Anyhow, here's my stash of un-used, un-touched Pokemon GB games!
